Our Life Commitments
Apprenticing under Jesus is learning the teachings, practices, and lifestyle of Jesus. It is engrafting His practices and teaching into our daily lives and holding ourselves accountable to Him.
The mission of Jesus was very specific:  To seek and save the lost!  Jesus saw the multitudes that were sick, destitute, and lost and He was moved with compassion to heal them and teach them. Jesus now transfers this declaration to us. Matthew 9:36-37
Revelation 4 describes to us a wonderful scene in heaven:  continuous worship!
The Bible teaches us:
We are created to worship! Isaiah 43:21
Worship is what God is seeking from His church: JOHN 4:23-24
Worship is prepared:  Romans 12:1
Worship is expressed:  Psalm 150:1-6
Worship is spiritualL:  2 CHRONICLES 5:11-14
Jesus, as well as the rest of the New Testament writers, spoke very strongly about TRUTH. John 8:31-32 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” ALL ROADS DO NOT LEAD TO HEAVEN! WE MUST SEEK TRUTH (2 Timothy 2:15) BECAUSE THIS TRUTH SAVES US! (Ephesians 1:13; 1 Timothy 2:3-4; 2 Thessalonians 2:13 ; John 8:32; Ephesians 4:22-24)
The bible is full of promises for those that give.  We are a church that will allow God every opportunity for those promises to come true!  There are so many ways we can give:  returning our tithes, giving offerings, and giving faith promise (missions) offerings.  As a church we support foreign missions efforts (supporting those that are starting churches aboard), home missions efforts (supporting new churches in the U.S.A), local charities such as I Am and the Hendersonville Rescue Mission.
What We Believe
We believe in the one ever-living, eternal God: infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose, and possessing absolute, indivisible deity.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a divine revelation from God to man. We accept the scriptures as the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  We believe that god was in christ, reconciling the world unto himself and that all the fullness of god’s nature lived dwelled in (or lived inside of) the flesh of christ. The flesh represented the veil of the old testament tabernacle; the separation between the purity, power, and the holiness of god’s spirit from sinful humanity. ] Jesus Christ was Born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified on Calvary for our sins, and his body rose from the grave to conquer death. He is the only mediator between God and man. We believe that, through His death and life we have personal salvation and power for victorious living.
We believe that all men have sinned and stand in need of redemption, which is obtained through the new birth by faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that new birth is experienced by those who appropriate the gospel (death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ) to their lives by repenting of sins, being baptized in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, as promised in Acts 2:38. We believe the initial evidence of the Holy Spirit indwelling is when one speaks in other tongues, as the Spirit gives the utterance. Those being born again of water and spirit become children of God and heirs with Jesus Christ. (Acts 2, John 3, I Corinthians 15:1-4)
The Church
We believe the church has been “called out” of the world to be a habitation of God through the Spirit. As the body of Christ on earth, the church offers hope to mankind. The church is one body made up of many members, diverse in their gifts and calling of the Holy Spirit.
The Second Coming
We believe in the pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ to receive His bride, the church, unto Himself. At His coming, we believe the dead in Christ will be resurrected from the grave. We believe in Christ’s millennial reign upon the earth.
